About me

As a Dutch person, bikes have always been part of my life. Growing up in our family bike shop, I started fixing and selling bikes at 16, and they’ve been a constant ever since.

Years later in Rotterdam, I met Frank from Mago Wheelworks (highly recommended if you are looking for a bike fit in the Netherlands). He gave me my first proper bike fit, and not long after I was working alongside him. That’s where I truly discovered bike fitting, and later deepened my knowledge through an intensive course with fitting expert Tony Corke.

For me, cycling is all about adventure and connection. It started with the punchy climbs of the Amstel Gold in the Netherlands and the cobbled classics in Belgium. More recently I’ve been drawn to the long-distance challenges—races like Seven Serpents, Race Around Rwanda, and the Veneto Trail. The cherry on top will be the Atlas Mountain Race in 2026.

But honestly, it’s not only about the big races. The smaller rides matter just as much or even more—the muddy trails around Munich, the rolling hills leading into the Alps, or the little overnight adventures close to home.

Too often riders accept aches and pains as part of the sport. I believe it doesn’t have to be that way. My goal is to help you find a position that feels natural, efficient, and joyful—so you can ride longer, push further, and discover your own adventures with comfort and confidence.
